This rich black and white 47-inch-wide (120 cm) cotton comes from India and is thick -- it weighs about 2.5 times as much as standard dress-weight cottons.

Shrinkage is about 5 percent -- please allow for this by pre-shrinking before cutting. We recommend hand washing, though it can be washed in the machine. A suspending agent, such as Synthrapol, will prevent any overdyeing of the white by released dyes.
