The challenge: To create a twin-size quilt using old Aloha shirts from a customer.

The finished product is shown below. The "shirt" in the center utilizes a new fabric, which was also used for the backing.

The method: Cutting the old shirts & new fabric into strips and strip quilting the front onto a single-piece back & cotton batt.
